Sand Creek's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Elizabeth Cardinals by a score of 2-1. Sand Creek fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Elizabeth since Wednesday.

Sand Creek's goal came courtesy of Chris Fouts, which was the first he's scored this season.

Sand Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Elizabeth, their record is now 6-7.

Sand Creek wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 loss against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 25th. As for Elizabeth, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-2 win against Valley on the 24th.
