Football Preview: St. James Wildcats vs. St. Charles Catholic Comets        
        
		
             The St. James Wildcats will head out on the road to  challenge  the St. Charles Catholic Comets  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. St. James is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 St. James will head into Friday's  contest on the come-up: they were handed a three-point  loss in their last  game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ponchatoula  on Friday. St. James put the hurt on Ponchatoula with a sharp  35-13 victory.
 St. James' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kani King-Young, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.  Jakias Villanueva did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 118  receiving yards.
 Meanwhile, St. Charles Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They took  a  10-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of De La Salle.
 St. James now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Charles Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 St. James came up short against St. Charles Catholic in their previous matchup  back in November of 2018, falling  13-7. Can St. James avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
