Baseball Recap: Frenchtown Triumphs

Frenchtown came out on top against Sentinel on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Broncs took their matchup against the Spartans 10-7. The Broncs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Liam Wexler was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gabe Gibbs, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Frenchtown's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Sentinel, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Frenchtown will face off against Ronan at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sentinel, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Butte at 5:00 p.m. on May 7.
