South Iredell lost against West Rowan back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings fell 5-1 to the Falcons. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

South Iredell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Hunt has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

South Iredell's record is now 16-7. As for West Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

South Iredell will take on Cox Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. West Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
