Football Game Preview: Weymouth vs. Braintree

On Friday Weymouth will take on Braintree at 7:00 PM. Weymouth aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.

Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Weymouth, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Framingham last Friday, winning 36-28. The win was a breath of fresh air for Weymouth as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Braintree, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They came up short against Walpole, falling 9-21.

Weymouth suffered a grim 7-34 defeat to Braintree the last time the two teams met. Can Weymouth avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
