Revere entered their tilt with Norton on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 4-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Revere got a great performance from Luke Farris as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Revere saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron French, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs French has posted since back in May of 2024. Tyler Frate also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Revere's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Norton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Revere will head out to face off against Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Minutemen 2, the Hornets 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Norton, they will take on Field at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
