Bend faced Crescent Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lava Bears came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The Lava Bears were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Raiders, so the Lava Bears were just returning the favor.

Bend has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Crescent Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 15-1-1.

Coming up, Bend will venture away from home to face off against Roseburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crescent Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against West Linn on the 27th.
