Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Oswego Indians. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Columbus was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Oswego, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Columbus will challenge Girard on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oswego, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against West Elk on the 20th.
