Basketball Recap: Weston Takes a Loss

Weston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Quitman Wolverines and fell 83-39. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Wolverines are ranked 77th).

Weston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Quitman, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Weston has already played their next matchup (against Castor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Quitman will be playing at home against Doyline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
