Softball Recap: Kerman Comes Up Short at Home Against Chowchilla

Kerman unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Chowchilla Tribe by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Tribe: they've now lost five in a row.

Kerman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roxy Alvarez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Coming up, Kerman will head out to face off against Dinuba at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chowchilla, they will square off against Mariposa County at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
