Baseball Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

Gilbert lost to Williams Field on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 12-2 to the Black Hawks. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilbert saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Watson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Gilbert now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Williams Field, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gilbert is set to challenge their familiar foe Queen Creek at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Williams Field will face off against rival Desert Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
