Basketball Recap: Oscoda Victorious

Oscoda won the last time they faced Heston Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Oscoda Owls came out on top against the Heston Academy Patriots by a score of 50-40.

Oscoda's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Heston Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oscoda has already played their next contest (against Houghton Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Heston Academy will venture away from home to face off against Whittemore-Prescott at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heston Academy is facing Whittemore-Prescott at the right time seeing as Whittemore-Prescott is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
