Football Recap: Lafayette County Comes Up Short

Lafayette County was the 57-20 winner over Lawson when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskers took a hard 42-28 fall against the Cardinals on Friday.

Lafayette County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lawson, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Lafayette County will face off against Warsaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawson, they will head out on the road to challenge East Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Cardinals their first taste of in-conference action this season.
