Basketball Recap: Hot Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Watson Chapel last Tuesday, Hot Springs came back down to earth. The Hot Springs Trojans were dealt a 76-49 defeat at the hands of the Conway Wampus Cats on Saturday. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

With the loss, Hot Springs broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5. As for Conway, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Hot Springs and Holy Innocents Episcopal will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Conway, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Little Rock Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
