Weymouth had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Braintree Wamps to the tune of 42-0. The Wildcats have beaten the Wamps the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wamps has come to flipping the script.

Coming up, Weymouth will face off against Whitman-Hanson Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Braintree, they will take on Quincy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
