Colonial was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Wekiva on Monday. The Grenadiers put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 15-3 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Grenadiers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Colonial's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Wekiva, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colonial will head out to square off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Grenadiers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wekiva, they will head out on the road to challenge Ocoee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
