Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Merrol Hyde Magnet walked away with it. They put the hurt on the LEAD Academy Panthers with a sharp 11-0 victory on Saturday. Merrol Hyde Magnet might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit LEAD Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabby Cruz (3), Reagan Hudson (3), Jaylin Baxter (3), and Emme Edwards (2).

The win (which was Merrol Hyde Magnet's fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for LEAD Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

As of now, neither Merrol Hyde Magnet nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
