It was a good run, but Boyle County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Jessamine Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Riley Cissell was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight contests.

Boyle County now has a losing record of 18-19. As for West Jessamine, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-11.

Boyle County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Jessamine, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Trinity Christian Academy on the 30th.
