Preview: Lockport Lions vs. Clarence Red Devils
The Lockport Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Clarence Red Devils at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lockport comes in on six and Clarence on ten.
Last Friday, Lockport strolled past Starpoint with points to spare, taking the game 30-15.
Lockport got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shey Williams out in front who picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jahkwon Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clarence walked away with it. They came out on top against West Seneca West by a score of 28-21 on Friday.
Their wins bumped Lockport to 7-3 and Clarence to 10-0.
Lockport couldn't quite finish off Clarence in their previous matchup back in September and fell 28-26. Can Lockport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
