Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granger). Everything went their way against the Dawson Bulldogs on Friday as the Granger Lions made off with a 64-38 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted since December 5th.

Dawson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Villarreal, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 12 points. Evan Javier was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Granger's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Dawson, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Granger and Snook will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dawson, they will venture away from home to square off against Kerens at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
