Volleyball Recap: Forest Grove Starts Season with Win on the Road

Forest Grove had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Grants Pass Cavemen by a score of 2-0. The Vikings were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cavemen, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

Grants Pass is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Forest Grove and Grants Pass will both be playing South Albany the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Redhawks at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Cavemen will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
