Volleyball Recap: Saratoga Takes a Loss

Saratoga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Wilcox Chargers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Wednesday.

While Saratoga was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wilcox, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Saratoga didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Fremont on the 28th. As for Wilcox, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hollister on the 27th.
