Volleyball Game Preview: Highland Springs Springers vs. Petersburg Crimson Wave

The Highland Springs Springers will square off against the Petersburg Crimson Wave at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Highland Springs' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Petersburg has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Wednesday, Highland Springs made easy work of Armstrong and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Highland Springs was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Petersburg lost 3-0 to Colonial Heights on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-4.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Highland Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
