Volleyball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County lost against North East Carolina Prep back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Huskies, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-18.

Washington County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North East Carolina Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Washington County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilson Prep at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for North East Carolina Prep, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against North Edgecombe on the 23rd.
