            Volleyball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs vs. Clayton Comets        
        
		
        
        
            Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  3-0 to the Clayton Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on September 2nd.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11,  25-8.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clayton to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Layla Seremet, who  had five  digs and four  aces. That's the most  aces  Seremet has posted since September 2nd.  Cameron Eckhart also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  aces of the season.
Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Clayton, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
 Southeast Raleigh has already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  defeat against Smithfield-Selma on the 30th. As for Clayton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against South Garner on the 30th.
