Softball Recap: The Meadows School Comes Up Short

The Meadows School made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cheyenne, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Desert Shields by a score of 12-10 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since March 14th.

Tessa Rosenstein made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Leighton Bekhor was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

The Meadows School's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Cheyenne, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12.

Coming up, The Meadows School will face off against Moapa Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Cheyenne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
