Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline lost against Huron back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Skyline Eagles fell 65-52 to the Huron River Rats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the River Rats are ranked tenth).

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Huron, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huron, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Lincoln sitting on six straight victories and Huron on seven.
