Volleyball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Signal Mountain Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Josie Moody paced Clinton's offense, picking up seven kills. Moody got some help from Alaina Staudenmaier and her six assists. Finally, Parker McGhee kept Clinton's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Clinton's record now sits at 14-9. As for Signal Mountain, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Clinton has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Mount Vernon on the 13th. As for Signal Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Rhea County on the 13th.
