Volleyball Recap: Colleton Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Colleton Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Colleton Prep Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-18.

Colleton Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Colleton Prep Academy will face off against Andrew Jackson Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Patrick Henry Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
