Marcellus moved up to 347 from 419 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwestern - South. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of a 47-12 win over Lawrence.

Watervliet extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hartford, 41-29. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Watervliet's dynamic duo of Jake Cowsert and Travis Bolin proved tough for the Indians to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Cowsert threw for 169 yards and five touchdowns and Bolin had 123 yards receiving. Bailey Blocker helped Watervliet's passing attack out by catching one ball for 28 yards.

David Mireles was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 164 yards on 20 carries as Hartford defeated Hartford. Sergio Perez also contributed to the rushing game with 45 yards on the ground.

The Panthers' Cowsert and Bolin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Southwestern - South in both passing and receiving yards. Cowsert has thrown for 857 yards this season, while Bolin, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 20 catches for 558 yards. Marcus Pompey from Marcellus leads the league in rushing with 658 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Watervliet takes on second place Marcellus. Watervliet defeated Dave Janicki's team last week, while AJ High's team beat the Tigers.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Panthers take on the Wildcats. Watervliet has allowed 42 points this season, while Marcellus has given up 52. The Panthers allowed 29 points last week as they topped the Indians.

The Wildcats took down Lawrence 47-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Pompey ran for 151 yards in the win.
