Baseball Recap: Columbia City Eagles vs. Norwell Knights
Columbia City let Norwell stack five runs on them in the fifth inning on Thursday but luckily Columbia City prevailed anyway. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Knights. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.
Grayson Bradberry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
