It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dr. Joaquin Garcia had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Plantation Colonels an 11-0 shutout. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Plantation from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Francesca Rojas led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Plantation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-16-2.
