Volleyball Recap: Mt. Ararat Victorious

The Mt. Ararat Eagles earned a 3-1 win over the Nokomis Warriors on Friday.

Mt. Ararat had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-22.

The victory got Mt. Ararat back to even at 1-1. As for Nokomis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Mt. Ararat will venture away from home to take on Edward Little at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nokomis, they will welcome Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
