Baseball Game Preview: Kewaskum Indians vs. Winneconne Wolves

The Kewaskum Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Winneconne Wolves at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Kewaskum is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.

Kewaskum is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since April 26th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Campbellsport 6-5.

Meanwhile, Winneconne came up short against Oshkosh West on Monday, falling 16-4. The Wolves have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Winneconne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Duel, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Kewaskum's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Winneconne, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Everything went Kewaskum's way against Winneconne in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Kewaskum made off with a 16-5 victory. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
