The Sumrall Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Florence Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sumrall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Thursday. Sumrall's defense stepped up to hand Presbyterian Christian a 3-0 shutout. Sumrall's winning goal came courtesy of Caroline Siders.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Florence made sure to put some goals up on the board against Mendenhall on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Tigers. The victory continues a trend for Florence in their matchups with Mendenhall: they've now won six in a row.

The win got Florence back to even at 1-1. As for Sumrall, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Sumrall took their win against Florence when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 6-3 score. In that contest, the Bobcats amassed a halftime lead of 4-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
