Baseball Recap: Christian School of York Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Christian School of York had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Conestoga Christian on Tuesday. Christian School of York blew past Conestoga Christian 10-3. With that victory, Christian School of York brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Noah Cunningham made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, Max Kruth was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Axel Sutherland, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Christian School of York pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Conestoga Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
