Softball Recap: Saratoga Extends Winning Streak to Four

Saratoga extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 13-2 in the process. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Palo Alto Vikings, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 19th.

As for Palo Alto, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Saratoga: they've now lost eight in a row.

For Palo Alto's part, Riannah Soliman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Kensie Pao, who earned one RBI and two stolen bases.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saratoga will take on rival Cupertino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Palo Alto is set to challenge their familiar foe Fremont at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
