Lutcher extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Rayne. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 15-8 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Lutcher's sixth in a row) raised their record to 26-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Rayne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolves beat Lutcher by a score of 5-0 later that day.
