Basketball Recap: Frantashia Williams Key Part of a Team Effort in Wolves Win

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Deltona prevailed. They walked away with a 46-38 win over the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs on Thursday. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Deltona's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Frantashia Williams led the charge by putting up 12 points. Another player making a difference was Camora Pate, who posted 12 points.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A'Keviyah Lewis, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Lewis a new career-high in points. Kierra Clark was another key player, earning ten points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Deltona and bumps their season record up to 12-9. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
