New Fairfield hasn't had much luck against Newtown recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rebels will take on the Nighthawks at 4:15 p.m. New Fairfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

New Fairfield took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Weston get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Newtown sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over Brookfield on Saturday.

New Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Newtown, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
