Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph's Catholic Knights vs. West-Oak Warriors

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Joseph's Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the West-Oak Warriors 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on five straight.

St. Joseph's Catholic took West-Oak into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-12, 25-14, 18-25, 15-8.

St. Joseph's Catholic found their leader in freshman Alicia Hanley, who had six digs and 25 assists. Those 25 assists set a new season-high mark for Hanley.

St. Joseph's Catholic pushed their record up to 20-17 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for West-Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.

As of now, neither St. Joseph's Catholic nor West-Oak have any future games scheduled.
