Volleyball Recap: Community Takes a Loss

Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Red Oak Hawks. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Community's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Red Oak, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Temple on the 16th. As for Red Oak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Lubbock-Cooper on the 16th.
