Softball Preview: Cedar Ridge Timberwolves vs. Izard County Cougars        
        
		
            
 The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against the Izard County Cougars at 4:30  p.m. Cedar Ridge will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
 On Friday, Cedar Ridge never let their opponents score. Everything went their way against White County Central as Cedar Ridge made off with  a  12-0 victory. The  win was just what Cedar Ridge needed coming off of  a  14-4 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Bella Arms made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Arms was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordan Porter, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Reagan Skaggs was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Izard County beat White County Central 5-0  on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Izard County.
 Cedar Ridge's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-12. As for Izard County, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record  this season.
 Cedar Ridge suffered a grim  12-2 defeat to Izard County  in their previous matchup  back in March. Can Cedar Ridge avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
