Volleyball Recap: West Franklin Comes Up Short

West Franklin was the 2-0 winner over Lyndon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.

Zoe Dowd paced West Franklin's offense, picking up seven kills. Dowd were helped by Teegan McArthur and Greelie McMahan, who contributed four assists each.

West Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lyndon, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat West Franklin by a score of 2-1 later that day.
