Softball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Silverado's Winning Streak

Silverado and Culver City squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Silverado had to settle for second. They lost 12-1 to the Centaurs. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Silverado saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Rodriguez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

The defeat snapped Silverado's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-12 record. As for Culver City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-14.
