Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Pitts' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Palm Grove Christian over Christian Learning Academy

Palm Grove Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 67-55 to the Christian Learning Academy Eagles.

Palm Grove Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Pitts, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 10 points along with five boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Gabe Troyer, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Palm Grove Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Christian Learning Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

As of now, neither Palm Grove Christian nor Christian Learning Academy have any future games scheduled.
