Basketball Recap: Socorro Comes Up Short

Socorro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Valley Vikings, falling 61-36.

Socorro's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Valley, they moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Socorro has already played their next match, a 74-31 defeat against Manzano on the 10th. Valley has also already played their next game, a 44-35 loss against Sandia Prep on the 10th.
