Montgomery came tearing into  Tuesday's  game with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   9-5  win over the San Ysidro Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  11-7  back in April.
Montgomery pushed their record up to 17-10 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for San Ysidro,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-9.
 Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Ysidro, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Sweetwater  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
