Hilton Head Island's tournament run continued when they took on Harlan County two weeks ago. Hilton Head Island fell 66-57 to Harlan County. The defeat continues a trend for the Seahawks in their matchups with the Black Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Hilton Head Island might have lost, but man, Tajae Wright was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. Reece Stewart was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points.

Even though they lost, Hilton Head Island was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Savannah Country Day waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They greeted the New Year with with a 64-50 victory over the Eagles.

Savannah Country Day's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Hilton Head Island, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
