Volleyball Recap: Tranquillity Comes Up Short

Tranquillity lost against Coalinga back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Horned Toads. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tranquillity took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-12, 25-19.

Tranquillity's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Coalinga, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10-2 record this season.

Tranquillity will be playing in front of their home fans against Avenal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coalinga, they will face off against Tulare Union at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
